Spring-like weather expected in Azerbaijan tomorrow

Partly cloudy and mainly dry weather is in the forecast for Baku and the Absheron peninsula on February 6 with a south-west wind, intense at times.

Report informs citing the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, that the temperature in Baku and peninsula will warm up to 19C in the day, an unusually hot start for the traditionally coldest month of the year.

While the atmospheric pressure will drop from 758 mm to 753 mm mercury column, the relative humidity will be 65-75% at night and 40-50% in the daytime.

The weather in Azerbaijani regions will be mainly dry tomorrow, with fog in some places at night and in the morning. South-west wind will occasionally intensify in some areas.

Temperatures will vary from 3 to 8 C at night, 15 to 20 C in the daytime, 23C in some places. The mountain areas will see temperatures at -2 to +3C at night, 8 to 13 C in the daytime.

According to the medical-meteorological forecast, strong south winds will blow on February 6 amid lower atmospheric pressure in the Absheron peninsula, and this is somewhat unfavorable for people sensitive to the weather.
