Sharp weather deterioration, strong wind, rain predicted - WARNING

Baku. 6 February. REPORT.AZ/ The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources has warned about a sharp change in weather conditions.

The National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry told Report that on February 7, the south-west wind will reach 15-18 m/s and 20-23 m/s at times in Baku and Absheron peninsula. It will make 15-20 m/s and is expected to increase up to 23 m/s on February 8.

In the regions of Azerbaijan, west wind will intensify up to 20-25 m/s on February 7-8 in some places, and occasional rain is predicted from February 8 evening to February 12. Rain will be intensive in some places, snowfall is predicted in mountainous and foothill regions.
