Rainfall, hailing in some places are expected in Azerbaijan - WARNING

Baku. June 2. REPORT.AZ/ The weather forecast was announced for June 3.

According to the information given to “Report” by the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources (MENR), there will be mainly cloudy, occasionally dismal and variable weather condition in Baku and Absheron peninsula, mainly rainless.

However, in some places at night, there will be a short-term raining and thundering. North-east wind will be replaced with south-east one in the daytime.

The temperature will be 14-16 °C at night, 20-24 °C in the daytime, 14-16 °C at night, 21-23 °C in the daytime in Baku.

Atmospheric pressure will drop from 766 mm mercury column to 760 mm mercury column. Relative humidity will be 70-80% at night and 45-50% in the daytime.

As for the expected weather conditions in Absheron beaches, north-east winds will blow in northern beaches (Sumgayit, Novkhani, Pirshaghi, Nardaran, Bilgah, Zugulba). Sea water temperature will be 16-17 °C. On the southern beaches (Turkan, Hovsan, Sahil, Shikh) north-east wind will blow. The sea water temperature will be 18-19 °C.

In some regions of Azerbaijan, lightning, intermittent rain is expected in the daytime, mainly rainless. The eastern wind will intensify in some places. The temperature will be 11-16 °C at night, 23-28 °C in the afternoon, 5-10 °C in the mountains at night, and 13-17 °C in the afternoon.

MENR warns that lightning and intermittent raining are expected in some northern and western regions on June 4-5. There is a possibility that there will be some torrential rainfall and hailing in some places. The eastern wind will intensify in some places.
