Ministry warns of worsening weather in Azerbaijan

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources (MENR) has issued a warning in connection with the expected weather conditions in Azerbaijan.

Report informs, citing the National Department of Hydrometeorology of the Ministry, that from December 4 to the evening hours on December 5, the south-west wind in Baku and Absheron peninsula will become strong north-west, and the air temperature will drop 3-5 degrees.

Unstable weather conditions and occasional rains are expected in Azerbaijani regions from December 4 evening until December 6, snow is predicted in mountainous and foothill areas. In some areas, precipitation may become intense. The west wind will intensify in some places.

The air temperature will be 3-5 C colder on December 5.
