MENR: Small avalanche process continues in landslide zone in Badamdar

Baku. 15 October. REPORT.AZ/ "A small avalanche process on the sliding mass of the right edge in Badamdar 20th Highway continued on October 15 night," Chief of the Geological Planning Expedition of the National Geological Survey of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Aziz Garalov told Report.

He said that at night, the ministry staff installed gypsum beacons over the cracks on the fences of residential houses on the opposite side of the slide: "The beacons are installed to monitor the tension and dynamics there."

The ministry official noted that members of the staff continue to observe the situation in the area.

Notably, the headquarters was established by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources (MENR) in order to strengthen control over the progress of the sliding process on the Badamdar 20th Highway and to organize regular observations.
