Mukhtar Babayev: "Hunter" selling meat of bear in Gabala will answer before state

“The cases of keeping animals in private homes or catering facilities have decreased in Azerbaijan,” Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev said.

Report informs that he spoke at a press conference held at the New Azerbaijan Party.

According to him, the public should be informed in this regard: "When anyone faces such situation, he/she publicizes it and we take immediate action in such a situation."

Babayev also commented on information spread in social networks regarding keeping wild animals: "The hunter, who sold the bear flesh in Gabala has been detained and he will answer before community and the state. "The public has a great role in this regard. That person was revealed and detained after he was exposed in social network. The community and the state worked together well. We should approach such issues together."
