MENR: Use of drinking water for technical purposes should be prohibited

Baku. 7 March. REPORT.AZ/ "Population should not allow water loss, drinking water should not be used for technical purposes," Irada Ibrahimova, spokesperson for the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

According to her, the best way to save drinking water lies through proper use by the population.

MENR official said that the use of drinking water for other purposes should be prohibited: "Drinking water should not be used in washing cars, carpets or in irrigating farms. One of the most important points is the change in approach to water. This method is considered the best way to save natural resources and drinking water in foreign countries. It is necessary to use water niggardly and effectively, to avoid loss of water, not to use drinking water for technical purposes in order to prevent water shortages in the future. We urge everyone to save water to avoid water shortage."
