Azerbaijan, India mull co-op in environmental protection

Cooperation between Azerbaijan and India in the field of environmental protection has been discussed, Report informs referring to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

A meeting was held between Deputy Foreign Minister of India Sanjay Verma and Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev.

At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the upcoming tasks within the “Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation between Azerbaijan and India,” on the current areas of cooperation between the two countries in the field of environmental protection, and prospects for the future were discussed.
