Azerbaijan eyes restoring protected natural areas in Nagorno Karabakh

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources is preparing proposals and projects to restore protected natural areas on lands in the Nagorno Karabakh region liberated from occupation, said Firudin Aliyev, the head of the biodiversity protection service of the ministry, Report informs.
He noted that work would begin after the completion of security measures in these territories.
‘Protected natural areas will become more accessible and open to citizens. A detailed project is being prepared, and the population will be informed,’ he added.
