Azerbaijan celebrates Wind Tuesday, the third of four Tuesdays, in the run-up to the Novruz spring holiday.
The Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) told Report that according to beliefs, the Wind Tuesday informs people about the warming of the weather. The snow and ice melt, the ground revives.
On this day, meals must be cooked in every house. Everybody should be home and have supper together.
