Anomalous hot weather expected in early and mid-July in Azerbaijan

Baku. 3 July. REPORT.AZ/ "Anomalous hot weather is expected again in early and mid-July in Azerbaijan”.

Head of the Department of Work with Social Agencies, Environmental Awareness and Science, Department of Ecological Education and Public Relations of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Umayra Tagiyeva told Report.

She said that the relative high humidity in the air during hot weather conditions is a factor that aggravates the heat effect: "MENR warns about abnormal heat in the next days of July to protect people's health and make them be careful. It is risky to stay in the open air for long hours from 11:00 till 17:00. Especially, children and elderly people should stay at home on anomalous hot weather".
