The 29th UN Climate Change Conference (COP29) has paved important pathways for COP30, said Andre Corrêa do Lago, President of COP30, Report informs.
Speaking via video message at the 2026 World Environment Day (WED) in Baku, hosted in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Andre Corrêa do Lago, President of COP30, emphasized the significance of the milestone.
He noted that World Environment Day serves as a vital platform for addressing climate change challenges. "I hope we can achieve the swift implementation of climate commitments," Corrêa do Lago said.
