Actual weather in Azerbaijan revealed: Sleet observed, in Tartar dropped hail

Baku. 24 September. REPORT.AZ/ The actual weather conditions in Azerbaijan from September 23 daytime till September 24 morning has been announced.

Report informs citing the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, as announced in advance, weather in the country was unstable, lightning, rain observed, intensified as torrential rains, also, sleet observed in high mountainous areas from September 23, in Tartar dropped hail. North-west wind blew, occasionally intensified.

2-3 mm of precipitation fell in Baku and Absheron peninsula, 5-64 mm in Greater Caucasus, 3-35 mm in Central Aran regions, 8-37 mm in Lankaran-Astara region, 12-23 mm in Lesser Caucasus, 1-14 mm in Gazakh-Ganja region, 1-5 mm in Nakhchivan AR.
