Voting in Azerbaijan's Sumgait starts with high voter turnout

Polling stations opened at 8 a.m. (GMT+4) in Azerbaijan's Sumgait for municipal elections, Report informs.

Voter turnout is high. In total, 272,474 voters are eligible to vote in Sumgait.

Of these, 1,841 will vote for the first time. The number of voters aged 80 to 100 years is 3,593 people, and 1 person is over 100 years old.

There are 210 polling stations open in Sumgait across six electoral districts. Voting will continue until 7 p.m.
