UN delegation gets acquainted with progress of restoration work in Fuzuli

The UN delegation on a visit to Fuzuli got acquainted with the restoration work on the spot.

According to Report's employee sent to the city, detailed information was provided to the guests about the restoration work and they could see the destruction and ruins of the city with their own eyes.

They were informed that Armenia deliberately destroyed the city so as not to leave traces of Fuzuli belonging to Azerbaijanis.

The members of the delegation also got acquainted with the progress of the construction of the art school, which is being built at the initiative of Kazakhstan.

A delegation of UN representatives arrived in Fizuli.

According to Report, the airplane carrying the guests landed at Fuzuli International Airport.

Members of the delegation got acquainted with the master plan of Fuzuli. Extensive information were provided to them about the restoration work underway there.

It was noted that Fuzuli was also declared a "green energy" zone.

During the visit, it is planned to get acquainted with the restoration work in Fuzuli and Aghdam.

A tree planting campaign will be held in connection with the 100th anniversary of the great leader Heydar Aliyev.

The UN delegation will focus on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), environmental protection and efficient use of water resources, agriculture, healthcare, urban planning, gender equality issues and other areas of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UN.
