TurkPA Secretary-General: Extension of NAM chairmanship period is manifestation of confidence in President Ilham Aliyev

"The extension of Azerbaijan's chairmanship of NAM is another manifestation of confidence in the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Azerbaijan," Mehmet Sureyya Er, Secretary-General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking Countries (TürkPA), said at the Baku Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network.

According to him, inter-parliamentary relations and parliamentary organizations play an essential role in achieving peace and cooperation in the world: "I would like to mention the model legislation in the activity of TurkPA particularly. Inter-parliamentary cooperation is important in achieving common goals. TurkPA is ready to cooperate with other international organizations.
