Special Envoy: Construction of Zangilan airport to be completed in September

The construction of Zangilan airport will be completed in September this year, Vahid Hajiyev, the President's special envoy to Zangilan district, said at a panel meeting of the IX Global Baku Forum in Shusha.

Hajiyev noted that the region has great potential for solar energy and ecotourism.

The special envoy stressed that construction and restoration work is underway in Zangilan.

He also noted that before the occupation, there were about nine preschools and 19 primary schools in Zangilan.
