Slutsky: People in Russia know, respect and love Mehriban Aliyeva

“Vice-President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva is an established authoritative politician not only for her country but for the entire post-Soviet space and beyond,” Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky told the Russian bureau of Report, congratulating the first lady of Azerbaijan on her birthday.

Slutsky highly appreciated the activities of Mehriban Aliyeva and her significant contribution to Azerbaijan’s development. He stressed that the work of the Azerbaijani vice-president has an extremely positive effect on the development of Russian-Azerbaijani relations. Moreover, such a significant impact is felt in all areas of cooperation, he added.
