Ruling party official: Mehriban Aliyeva - true representative of Azerbaijani women

"The legal framework regarding women has been improved in Azerbaijan. Women's rights issues are reflected in various legislative acts of the country," Deputy Chairman - Head of the Central Office of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Tahir Budagov said at a conference on "The role of civil society in promoting gender equality and women's rights" at the party's headquarters, Report informs.

According to him, the traditions of the First Lady have been brought to the Azerbaijani society, which is advancing on the path of democratic development and the rule of law.
