President Ilham Aliyev: From now on, Azerbaijani language will prevail in this region

“In May this year, the Kharybulbul Music Festival was held here, on Jidir Plain, mugham [one of the many folk musical compositions from Azerbaijan] was sounded. In August, Vagif’s Poetry Days were held, the poems of Vagif and our other genius poets were recited,” Azerbaijani president, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev said, speaking to the servicemen in Shusha.

“From now on, on these lands and under this sky, neither singing in a foreign language, nor other inappropriate statements will be heard. From now on, the Azerbaijani language will prevail in this region, as it was historically,” he added.
