Head of Nasimi-Sabail Constituency No. 23: Voter activity observed since morning hours

There are 1,434 voters in total at polling station No. 13 at Nasimi-Sabail Constituency No. 23, Precinct Chairperson Jala Zeynalova told Report.

Zeynalova stated that the precinct received 1,362 ballots: "Ten people will participate in the at-home voting process."

The chairperson also mentioned that there are 34 candidates in the district. She added that there has been voter activity since the morning hours.

The voting will run until 19:00 (GMT+4). The elections are being held at 5,846 polling stations covering 118 electoral districts. In total, 16,092 candidates are competing for 8,071 seats in 685 municipalities.

According to the Central Election Commission (CEC), 5,961,987 voters are eligible to participate in the elections.

January 29 has been declared a non-working day in Azerbaijan due to the elections.
