Population of Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan growing

As of August 1, 2024, the population of Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic increased by 2,581 people or 0.6%, compared to the same period last year, Nakhchivan State Statistics Committee told Report.
Thus, the population of the autonomous republic reached 469,853.
In January-July 2024, 2,153 babies were born in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and 1,285 people died.
