Party chairman: Those who want to bring Turkish-Azerbaijani brotherhood into disrepute will not achieve their goals

"103 years ago, the Caucasian Islamic Army under the command of Nuru Pasha liberated Baku from occupation. From that day, Baku became our single capital," the chairman of the Unity Party, MP Tahir Karimli told journalists.

The MP is proud that his grandfather's brother Aligulu Dursunalioglu was martyred in the liberation of Baku and his nephew in the First Karabakh War: "Turkey itself was in a difficult situation at that time since most of its territory was occupied. Nevertheless, they felt obliged to be with Azerbaijan. Led by Nuru Pasha, they defended Baku. Let everyone know that those who want to bring the brotherhood of Turkey and Azerbaijan into disrepute will not achieve their goals. Because we have the same blood. We will become stronger. For the first time in the last 100 years, the strength and solidarity of the Turks have emerged. Our unity and development will continue for many years."
