More than 130 representatives from 44 foreign countries are attending the Azerbaijan National Urban Forum in Aghdam.
Report informs that more than 400 people are taking part in the forum, including officials of local and foreign authorities, representatives of international organizations, experts and scientists.
The forum discusses the "Sustainable Development Goals" and "The New Urban Agenda as a Leading Force for Recovery and Reconstruction in the Post-Conflict Period".
The forum is organized by the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan, the United Nations Program on Human Settlements (UN-HABITAT) and ADA University.
The main purpose of the event is to share international experience that contributes to sustainable development and urban regeneration, to study the Azerbaijani model of urban regeneration, as well as to establish contacts with specialists and politicians facing similar problems in different parts of the world.
