Official: District comission members cannot obstruct observers

"Members of district commissions must work in line with the law," Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahovsaid.

According to Report, Panahov has today held a press conference to declare the parliamentary elections open.

The CEC chief said members of the district commissions have no right to obstruct registered observers:

"This rule is valid for observers too. They should not impede the work of the district commissions."
