Number of Azerbaijani population announced

As of February 1, 2024, the population of Azerbaijan increased by 2,891 people, or 0.03%, to 10,183,661, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

In the total number, the share of the urban population was 54.5%, while the rural population made up the remaining 45.5%. In terms of sex ratio, women made up the majority with 50.2%.
