Prime Minister announced main purpose of personnel reforms in Azerbaijan

"Forming a flexible management model based on progressive criteria at the current stage of reforms is also relevant for Azerbaijan".

Report informs, Prime Minister Novruz Mammadov said.

He said that the main goal of personnel reforms in recent years is to improve the social welfare of the population and formulate a sustainable development strategy that does not depend on oil, in general, the change of public administration philosophy: "President Ilham Aliyev, first of all, cares about the interests of citizens, makes decisions related to public administration and carries out structural reforms".

The Prime Minister recalled that the appointment of Mehriban Aliyeva, the President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, to the position of First Vice President of Azerbaijan on February 21, 2017, aimed to increase the sustainability of multilateral reforms in Azerbaijan and the effectiveness of public administration: “Mehriban Aliyeva's successful activity as First Vice President provided acceleration of this process and brought new breath to administration”.
