Ministry of Justice says Amnesty Act to apply to nearly 70 women prisoners

The number of women to be covered by the Amnesty Act has been revealed, Report informs.
Malik Alakbarov, Chief of the Inspection to Supervise Execution of Punishments of the Ministry of Justice, said at a roundtable discussion with the media on "The next manifestation of the humanist policy of our state" dedicated to the Amnesty Act announced on November 8 - Victory Day that the Amnesty Act will apply to about 70 women prisoners: "Some of them will be released, and the rest will have their sentences reduced to six months."
