Minister: Azerbaijan to set new sports strategy

A new strategy for Azerbaijani sports will be determined, Report informs, quoting Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov.

"We, together with experts in the field of sports, will work on this strategy,” he added.

The minister noted that this strategy should cover all sports areas, starting with the ‘Law on Sports’ and ending with professional sports, including those for children and youth.

“We have serious plans to involve children and youth in sports. These plans will be announced shortly," the minister said.
