Mazahir Panahov: International observers to be invited to municipal elections

"Representatives of international organizations will be invited to monitor the voting process at municipal elections in Azerbaijan on December 27," Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov said.

Report informs that he said the number of international observers in the municipal elections is low: "Representatives of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe will be invited to the municipal elections. I think there will not be any problem in terms of observers. We will try to have as many international observers as possible in the elections. Because we are interested in the participation of international observers in the elections."
