Deputy Prime Minister: Khojaly genocide committed by Armenian armed forces and their defenders

Armenian dashnaks completely destroyed the population of one city overnight, lynched civilians, killed 613 people, insulted corpses and 1,275 were taken hostage. The fate of 150 people is still unknown. There were 63 children, 106 women and 70 elderly people among victims. As a result of military aggression, eight families were completely destroyed. This terrible tragedy occurred in one night. This terrible night will never be forgotten." VP, executive secretary, deputy chairman of the New Azerbaijan party Ali Ahmadov said.

Report informs that he spoke at the event titled 'We have not forgotten Khojaly genocide!'.

He noted that Azerbaijani people have never been in the spirit of revenge. "We do not divert people, especially youth, to revenge. We want those who committed this massacre to be punished. This is our task ahead. As a nation we will achieve it. We must introduce this tragedy to the world. Relevant work has been done in this direction. Over time, the number of those who recognize this tragedy will increase. Those who committed this tragedy cannot be called humans. This genocide was committed by the Armenian armed forces and their defenders, and they bear the responsibility. "

Ahmadov emphasized that the state should be strong to protect the borders of the country: "If the state is not strong, it cannot protect people. If Armenian occupation policy was one reason for the occupation of our lands in the 1990s, another was the weakness of the state. The weak state is pressured in different ways."
