Italian observer: Azerbaijani youth demonstrate high turnout in elections

Observer from the Italian Parliament Andrea Di Giuseppe noted with satisfaction the high turnout among young people in the presidential elections in Azerbaijan, Report informs.

The Italian parliamentarian was speaking to journalists following observations at polling station No. 38 of the Nasimi-Sabayil constituency No. 23.

"The high turnout at the elections pleasantly surprised us. The turnout was very high from the very morning. Young people are actively participating in voting," he said.

He emphasized that the youth of Azerbaijan, unlike the countries of the European Union, are interested in participating in voting. In Europe, it is problematic to convince people to exercise their right to vote, he added.
