Eldar Azizov, the head of the Baku City Executive Power, exercised his democratic right by casting his vote in Azerbaijan's municipal elections on Friday.
According to Report, Azizov voted at polling station No. 6 in the Sabail electoral district No. 7.
The municipal elections are being held across 118 electoral districts in Azerbaijan, with 5,846 polling stations open for voters. A total of 16,092 candidates are vying for 8,071 seats in 685 municipalities nationwide. According to the Central Election Commission (CEC), the number of eligible voters in the country stands at 5,961,987.
Polling stations will remain open until 7:00 pm, providing ample time for all eligible voters to cast their ballots.
