According to the decision signed by Prime Minister Ali Asadov, Azerbaijan prohibits gathering individuals (except for close relatives; parents, grandparents, children, and siblings) in groups of more than 5. The new rule will be applied in Baku, Jalilabad, Ganja, Goranboy, Goygol, Lankaran, Masalli, Mingachevir, Sumgayit, Yevlakh, and Absheron, Barda, Khachmaz, Samukh, Siyazan and Sheki regions where the special quarantine regime is tightened.
Notably, the Task Force extended the special quarantine regime in Azerbaijan, and its coverage expanded to prevent the further spread of coronavirus and minimize the possible consequences.
The special quarantine regime will last from 06:00 (GMT+4) July 5 through 06:00 July 20.
