Eldar Namazov: Azerbaijan needs strong think tanks

"There are certain gaps in the field of military-political analysis in Azerbaijan. Therefore, there is a need for strong think tanks," Eldar Namazov, director of the Center for Strategic and International Studies, said at the 1st Forum of Azerbaijan Think Tanks.

According to him, the Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations are in 'hostage':

"This is influenced by the geopolitical struggle which hinders Armenia."

According to the political scientist, the geopolitical situation is very important for the region: "We have always had a good expert on Iran and Turkiye. But there have been almost no serious studies on Central Asia. However, this is very important. There is a need for research on Central Asia."
