Deadline for political parties to file annual financial report to CEC expires next week

Political parties should submit their financial report for 2018 to Central Election Commission (CEC) no later than April 1, 2019. Report informs that 21 out of the 55 political parties registered in the Ministry of Justice have filed a financial statement to the CEC until now.

These are the ruling New Azerbaijan Party, the Azerbaijan Democratic Party, the Alliance Party for the Sake of Azerbaijan, the Birlik Party, the Azerbaijan Liberal Party, the Great Establishment Party of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Democratic Enlightenment Party, Social Democratic Party of Azerbaijan, Republican Alternative Party, The Liberal Democratic Party of Azerbaijan, National Revival Movement Party, Compatriot Party, Communist Party of Azerbaijan and others.

Notably, CEC must inform the Ministry of Justice about the political parties that do not submit their annual financial statements together with the auditor's report until April 1.
