CEC receives 25 appeals on municipal elections

The Central Election Commission (CEC) received 25 appeals over incidents at polling stations during municipal elections that took place on December 23.

Report, citing Central Election Commission chief Mazahir Panahov, said the CEC had considered eight of the received appeals.

"One of the appeals came on the election day. We reviewed it with the participation of the press and made a corresponding decision. Another application was considered on December 24."

The CEC chairman added that all the claims had to do with the alleged violations at the polling stations.
