Cabinet of Ministers: Work begins on proposals to increase salaries, pensions, benefits

The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan is taking measures to implement the decree of President Ilham Aliyev on increasing the social welfare of the population, Report informs, citing the Cabinet of Ministers.

"The order signed by President Ilham Aliyev on additional measures to support the social well-being of the population, dated October 16, 2021, protects people's social well-being, in particular in vulnerable groups.

"The Cabinet of Ministers was instructed to prepare and submit proposals to the head of state to reflect the relevant measures in the draft state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022 to ensure an increase in salaries, labor pensions and social benefits, scholarships, and other social payments.

"The government has already started preparing proposals," the message says.
