Azerbaijani MP: Solidarity of parties was one of factors leading to victory in war

Unity of most parties in defense of our lands was one of the factors influencing the victory in the war, the chairman of the Civil Solidarity Party MP Sabir Rustamkhanli said at a roundtable on "Patriotic War: a great symbol of the unity of the President-People-Army" at the headquarters of the New Azerbaijan Party.

According to him, political communication is inconceivable without dialogue in today's new world: "Unfortunately, a normal dialogue environment in Azerbaijan over the past 30 years was rendered possible in 2020. The OSCE Office in Baku brought together political parties on the eve of the election. I think it is enough to look at the activities of the Minsk Group to evaluate their initiative. Over the years, calls for dialogue have come from parties that are not in power. The government must take into account that dialogue contributes to peace. Such a proposal came from the President of Azerbaijan during the war. Many political parties reacted positively to this proposal."
