Azerbaijani, Brazilian foreign ministries hold political consultations

The Azerbaijani and Brazilian foreign ministries have held another round of political consultations in Brasilia, the Brazilian capital, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

The current state of bilateral relations, as well as the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres were discussed during the political consultations. In addition, the sides exchanged views on the development of prospects for partnership within regional and international organizations.

During his visit to Brazil, Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov met with Brazilian Presidential Adviser on Foreign Policy Filipe Martins, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Marcio Eli Almeida Leandro and members of the Brazilian-Azerbaijani Friendship Group in the Brazilian Parliament.

During the meetings, the sides discussed the prospects of bilateral relations, the expansion of economic cooperation, the importance of inter-parliamentary relations, and stressed the importance of increasing contacts between the two countries.
