Azerbaijan’s election commission to send invitations to int’l observers

In the coming days, Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) will send invitation letters to international observers who will monitor the voting process in the early presidential elections, CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov said, Report informs.
He noted that a large number of international observers are expected to participate in the upcoming elections.
“We will send invitations in the coming days,” he said.
Early presidential elections in Azerbaijan are scheduled for February 7, 2024.
On December 15, at an extended meeting of the board of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), a decision was made to nominate Ilham Aliyev for the presidential election.
