Azerbaijan CEC: 261 parliamentary candidates have been approved so far

“The candidacies of 431 persons have so far been registered, of which 261 have been approved,” Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov said at a meeting on the upcoming snap parliamentary election held.
According to the CEC chairman, 213 of them have taken signature sheets to participate in the elections, while 9 persons have returned their signature sheets.
