Azerbaijan announces number of marriages and divorces in January

The district (city) registration departments of the Ministry of Justice registered 3,979 marriages and 1,370 divorces in January of this year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

Compared to the corresponding period of 2022, the number of marriages per 1,000 people decreased from 6.4 to 4.6, while the number of divorces increased from 1.5 to 1.6.
