Anar Bagirov: "Lawyers in regions can be exempted from taxes"

"The tax burden on lawyers is high. It is possible to reduce this burden, and even completely exempt lawyers in regions from taxes," Chairman of the Bar Association Anar Bagirov said.

He said that interest in advocacy in Azerbaijan has increased and regular examinations are being held: "Today, the number of lawyers is low in Azerbaijan. We do our best to increase the number. However, in general the number of lawyers is small in Azerbaijan”.

The chairman of the board said that as the corruption and other negative issues disappear in judicial-legal reform, the credibility of the advocacy will increase.
