Baku. 7 December. REPORT.AZ/ Allocation of graveyards in Azerbaijan will be free. Report informs that, according to the recently approved Cemetery Establishment and Management Guidelines, the cemetery places in the cemetery should be separated into sections according to the religious affiliation of the population and the national traditions and customs of the cemetery, taking into account the dimensions defined by these Guidelines, and information on this place is clearly visible and read on the announcement door of the entrance to the cemetery.
Grave places for Azerbaijani citizens, as well as those living or residing in the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as foreigners or stateless persons, are allocated spaces free of charge by the cemetery directorate.
Repeated use by a close relative of a person buried in the grave is allowed only after 25 years from the moment of funeral after presenting document certifying kinship.
