5.3 million ballots to be printed for elections to Azerbaijani parliament

Today, the printing office of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan started publishing ballot papers in connection with the parliamentary elections scheduled for February 9.

According to Report, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov and members of the Commission took part in an event held in Milli Majlis on this occasion.

The CEC chairman said the office published a total of 5,387,600 ballots in 125 constituencies. CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov said the ballot papers would first be distributed to constituencies in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, then to other constituencies in Azerbaijan, and finally to Sumgayit, Absheron, and Baku.
