307 people applied to participate in parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan

As many as 307 people from 124 out of 125 constituencies in Azerbaijan have so far applied to become a candidate in the upcoming snap parliamentary elections, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov said at today's CEC meeting, Report informs.
Panahov said that signature sheets were distributed to the candidates:
“Nominations of 150 people have already been confirmed, and signature sheets have been given to 114 people. The process will continue for seven days from tomorrow.”
