Azerbaijan bans publishing of 30 books contradicting to multicultural values

Baku.19 December. REPORT.AZ/ "Nearly 30 religious publications were not allowed to publish in Azerbaijan in 2018."

Report informs that head of the Expertise Department at the State Committee on Religious Associations of the Republic of Azerbaijan Nahid Mammadov said.

According to him, the main reason were that these books contained ideas contradicting the multicultural values in Azerbaijan and their publication for specific purposes: "Some restrictions were imposed on the number of religious literature imported into the country. Those books were opposed to our national and spiritual values and promotes hostility. Their number is about 800. "
