1,030 candidates registered for Azerbaijan's parliamentary elections

A total of 1,030 candidates have been registered for the upcoming snap parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, scheduled for September 1, 2024, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC), Mazahir Panahov said, Report informs.

On June 28, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree dissolving the 6th convocation Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (Parliament) and scheduling snap parliamentary elections for September 1.
