Houston Azerbaijanis organize a charity event for people affected by war

The Azerbaijan American Cultural Alliance and the Houston Azerbaijan School organized a charity event to support civilians affected by the war.
According to the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora, the event, which began with Azerbaijan's national anthem, was attended by Houston Azerbaijanis, Turks, Americans, Turkmens, Jews, and Bosnians.
The event featured schoolchildren's paintings reflecting the National Revival Day on November 17, our soldiers' bravery, and presented the national cuisine dishes.
$ 10,197 received from the charity event will be used for civilians' needs affected by the war in Azerbaijan.
